Clockwork Canvas

is a small sandbox game where you can paint with one restriction: all your paintbrushes have to be stuck to a spinning gear.

Make do with that what you will!

This is a small project created for a game jam, but I ended up unable to work on it during the allotted time and missed the submission window. However, I still liked the idea enough so I spent a day polishing it up into this.

Sound & Performance

On the web version specifically, the sound may be a little off for some reason. Additionally, multithreading performance boosters for the painting will not work in the web version. For these reasons, you may want to download the windows version, which is below.

Artwork Possibilities

Since I'm not a particularly talented artist, I haven't really been able to figure out how you could actually use this as a tool to make some drawings. But, I'm sure you might be the one to figure out how to make the Mona Lisa with just... spinning gears.
