Balanced
A downloadable game for Windows
Balanced
is a small game I created as a result of being creatively drained for new, executable ideas. This was my breakout from that.
Take control of a platform that will increasingly fill with shapes of various kinds.
As shapes of the same type combine, they'll get bigger and bigger. Be careful, the weight adds up quickly!
Milestones
As your largest shape gets bigger, upgrades will be available after reaching certain milestones
Chill Jazz
Attribution-free jazz music will be constantly blasting throughout your session. It consists of 5 pieces in this order:
- Ersatz Bossa - John Deley and the 41 Players
- Fortaleza - Topher Mohr and Alex Elena
- Book Bag - E's Jammy Jams
- A Night Alone - TrackTribe
- Sunday Stroll - Huma-Huma
These songs were found on Youtube's audio library which is all available for free.
Development Time
This game started its first iteration on a Sunday, which I developed until Tuesday when I decided I didn't like it and scrapped everything.
I remade everything in the second iteration by the end of Tuesday, which I developed until Friday. The entire project has then taken about 15 hours over the course of 6 days.
